Hi Alissa. Happy Easter! That bun looks delicious. I love Hot Cross Buns! I’m trying to learn how to use watercolour pencils and I wondered if you could answer these questions or give me some advice. Do you put the pencil down and then use a wet brush (I’m guessing not very wet). Do you then add more watercolour pencil and do you add when the area is still a little damp or when it is completely dry or both?
Many thanks, Mel.

I love this Alissa and I haven’t heard that jingle/rhyme for years.

Hi Melanie. Thank you . I hope you are inspired and motivated. Yes, I put the pencil down and the use the wet brush. I then wait for the area to completely dry before add more colour. Often it is more of the same colour to make it darker in that area. I have a few step by step blogs for sketching some items and a few videos. I will find the links and add them here.
